Should We Students Hold Birthday Party In The Restaurant?

It is quite common among our generationto hold a party to celebrate our birthday in the restaurant.However, should we advocate that students invite our classmates andfriends to celebrate our birthday in the restaurant? There are two kinds of opinionsconcerning this question.

在我們這一代人當(dāng)中，在飯店舉行派對慶祝生日是非常普遍的。然而，我們是否應(yīng)該提倡學(xué)生邀請同學(xué)、朋友在飯店慶祝生日呢？對于這個問題，這里有兩種觀點。

For one thing, some people who are in favor of it considerthat holding a birthday party in the restaurant provides a chance to communicatewith each other, which is good for strengthening and closing the relationshipbetween classmates and friends.Theyalso point out that students can establish the friendships in the party. In addition,students can get some relaxation after study.

一方面，支持這種做法的人認為在飯店舉行生日派對為學(xué)生、朋友之間相互交流提供了機會，這有利于加強、拉近彼此之間的關(guān)系。他們也指出學(xué)生可以在派對中建立友誼。此外，學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)之余還能得到一些放松。

However, for another, others entertain anegative opinion towards it. They figure out that holding birthday party willincrease the expenditure of our family and make family’s burden of economyheavier. Besides, holding birthday party in the restaurant is prone to lead tothe bad habit of trying to keep up with Joneses, which is not good for ourgrowth.

然而，另一方面，有些人對此懷有相反的觀點。他們指出舉行生日派對會增加家庭的支出，加重家庭的經(jīng)濟負擔(dān)。另外，在飯店舉行生日派對易于導(dǎo)致互相攀比的壞習(xí)慣，不利于我們的成長。

Taking above into consideration, I aminclined to agree with the latter. I do not advocate that our studentscelebrate birthday with friends in the restaurant. As for me, staying with ourparents on our birthday is more meaningful.

經(jīng)過對以上觀點的考慮，我傾向于同意后一種觀點。我不提倡學(xué)生和朋友們在飯店慶祝生日。對我而言，在生日那天，和父母在一起更有意義。
